BIKE Mag
Creative Stratagy / Rebranding / Art Direction / Production / Motion Graphics / Sorftgood Design
Expand a then-25-year-old print title into creating new revenue streams through new forms of digital and video focus while maintaining an 8X-per-year print magazine. Jobs included creative direction for the brand/title, working with the passionate staff of mountain bikers on print, social, web, and video, as well as new venture ideas.
Art direction and layout production of the magazine, video motion graphics for online and video series, and T-shirt and product designs.
Magazine redesign from the cover logo to the last page. Part of the redesign was also to figure out new ways to streamline the workflow to help shift from a print focus to a multi-media-focused brand.

BIKE SHOP Project
Convert our bike garage into a video set to produce episodic video series. Working with the sales team to get the project sponsored and funded and then working with a budget, I designed and built by hand (literally pulling out the power tools), building walls, setting up lighting, painting, decorating, and overall building a set from the ground up. See the Shop in video.
25 Year Anniversary Book Project
A 150-page hardcover book spanning 25 years of the publication’s best photos accompanied by stories from past editors, photographers, and athletes. The book was broken into chapters by decade with intros by Brice Minnigh, former Editor in Chief of the magazine.
